Elections and Voting

It is the responsibility of the voter and the registrar to ensure voters are registered and have access to vote in all elections.

Voting mechanisms must be capable of establishing a margin of victory that is twice the margin of error

Plurality is not sufficient to govern – only an unambiguous majority shall be acceptable. Election ways and means will to ensure a majority result with the lowest probability of uncertainty and highest level of Electorate approval

Representatives of the People shall have no financial dealings with lobbyists, Special Interest, or PACs. All fundraising for Elections shall be from the constituent base exclusively or from Federal Equal Election funds.

Representatives may receive in-kind contributions from a registered national party for administrative, security, and campaign management only.

Representatives shall receive support and contributions for election campaigns only from constituents to be limited to 10% of the national poverty maximum income per constituent per campaign. No Special Interest money is allowed; all contributions must be through valid constituents. A “constituent” is defined as a legally registered voter in the district included in the election or poll. Adjustments for population density and territory size will be made to reflect cost differences in those areas.

Representatives may be recalled and recall mechanisms shall assure the rapid and fair establishment of recall elections. Recall elections are single issue referendum requiring 66% of eligible voter participation and a majority of all voter
